This is probably not the page you were expecting to see. Unfortunately, Internet Explorer 6 (and earlier) does not support PNG graphics with alpha channel transparency, which are a fundamental part of this site's design. IE 6 also does not support many important security features common in most other modern web browser software, including Firefox and Microsoft's own Internet Explorer 7.

It is not my intention to be rude and unwelcoming, but while the disadvantages of using Internet Explorer 6 with my site are purely cosmetic, on many other sites, the risks of using a browser with many well-known security exploits are simply not worth your trouble. Trust me.

In other words, consider this a friendly warning. Feel free to continue on to room34.com, understanding that the horrible mess of a design you are seeing is not how it's intended to look, and that it would not look that way if you were using a more current browser. But I would strongly recommend that you upgrade to either Firefox or Internet Explorer 7.

Firefox is a wonderful open source web browser that is quickly gaining popularity on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux platforms everywhere. It is the preferred browser of room34.com.

If you're still convinced Internet Explorer is the way to go, I encourage you to Start > Windows Update or Start > Microsoft Update (depending on your system) and run all recommended software updates, which will include Internet Explorer 7. Alternately, you can get IE 7 here.
