Population Trajectory Calculator

This tool will accept various input parameters and then calculate the annual birth and death rates for a population based on those parameters. Adjust the default parameters below as you like, then click Get Results to see the effects.

Randomness plays a role in three elements of the program: determining the age of each member of the population at the beginning of the study, the specific years in which disasters occur, and which members of the population will fall victim to those disasters. As a result, each study will be slightly different, even with the same input parameters!

What's the point of all this, you ask? Gah??!?!
